Those fights led to a rip of our nation. It led to the first rebellion war in the country in 1964. This situation was also explained, by our political leaders misunderstanding of their responsibility toward our nation and community.
Their personal interests often exceeds the national interest. It leads to raising alliances against-nature supporting disorders and anarchy in the country.
We have also experienced election without stakes - by the time of dictatorship - with known voting issue. The presidential election had only one candidate. People have to chose between "red or green vote" and the result known in advanced. Generally, beyond 98%, if not 99,99% of favorable votes. As for other local elections, the money played an important role in the choice of its representatives - in some larger cities - but in the countryside, victory returned to those who use to serve their community such a recognition and expression of confidence and gratefulness for services rendered.
The next elections constitute an opportunity to break with the moral corruption of the population. Certain candidates will provide you with everything you may need: drinks, foodstuffs, moneys etc... - to obtain your vote.
For sure: "It is not sure that the one who will give you more today will provide the best care for your future tomorrow."
Perhaps, it will be difficult for you to make a choice among various candidates who will be introduced to you, in our side we ask you to make your choice on the best political program base. It will be even worse for the Congo if you chose to revote for those who contributed to demolish this country. That's why we are requesting you to deprive them of your confidence and your vote. These groups are easily identifiable.
It is necessary to avoid compromising your future in exchange of some fortuitous advantages. As a proof we think that the next Sunday, after election, none of those people will come to give you free drinks or other products that you would or may need.
Our group is animated of good faith and will seize this occasion to contribute to relieve of our population poverty and misery. We will bring in change that will relieve our people from their present conditions. You can trust us and together we will win the next election.
our country is doing very bad. All values and Virtues has been reverted. Those who are born after the Seventies are unaware of the position held by our country in the international community. Suffering became natural for Congolese. This suffering has exceeded the bottom limits.
It is difficult for us, at Unic, to let our nation perish more by not acting on time.
Congolese showed over the world either their intellectual capacity of adaptation or they aptitude to learn. Those who leave inside the country have demonstrated a strong capacity of physical resistances against various infectious diseases and misery.
We condemn the destruction of our country's infrastructures. The Unic group, with all the Congolese, will take up the challenge of this reconstruction. We will acts instead of expanding nice words without action. We will bring in concrete actions to unlock our nation destiny.
Dear compatriots,
It is time, for those who did or tried to make some things for the DRC, at the best of their competences, and who did not succeed to let others fellow citizen - with proven record and experience - outside the country to work for the best interest of our entire community. It is simply question of agreeing to continue to provide the same service to the country, in a level adapted to his best ability, according to each one competences and means.
DRC is a tremendous territory where everything needs to be made. There is a job for every one. Some are more able to create the conditions of our general blooming. Far from the egoistic considerations. It is necessary to give them a chance to work for the general interest.
From your choice, in the next elections, will rely your health, your kids education, the state of our roads, the peace and the development of our country, etc...
This is why we call for unity based on our political program. Our political program is a scheduled plan covering the term in the office according to the five or seven year's presidential terms. There are some remedies that we can initiate. Others may require longer time than presidential term. We will include most proposals and recommendations issued from the sovereign national conference - [Conférence Nationale Souveraine - CNS]. We are committed ourselves to value and complete all good economic development projects not implemented in the past due to bad faith or lack of vision of our leaders.
The DRC needs an ambitious leader according to the country's size and value in the world. We can recover our dignity in the international community by organizing ourselves to feed our children, provide health care to our citizen, accommodate our handicapped people, to build our roads, to protect all investments from our national investors and from Congo's foreign partners.
The fortune of our country is essentially made of its son and daughters. You must make the good choice to respect the memory of 5 million of the Congolese victims of the war in the Eastern part of the country. The country need a fully legitimated government as a result of the future election. This is essential for the future of DRC. We need to choose qualified men and women able of guarantying by their lucidity, intelligences and wisdom, the return of our country on the way of its progress and development. That is a duty for Unic.
If Nelson Mandela passed more than twenty-five years in prison to fight against apartheid, he left out with a wisdom that enabled him to maintain South Africa on the way of progress and development. Some Congolese has accomplished almost a quarter of century in developed countries. They will be able to teach us the keys for the economic, social and cultural development that our country needs. It is known that we get richer by being in contact with others people.
Having observed the degree in which our country declined, I decided to launch this call for unity to rebuild and develop our country. I studied with the Congolese government scholarship. I consider that I am in debt of my country and I would like to pay it back by giving to this country what I learned.
With Unic, we will fulfill the Congolese family basic requirements needs: by applying family policy directed towards their future, in support of the middle class and the socially underprivileged population.
We will make compatible political decisions with the needs of families. We will focus on supplying the best frame for our children: we will place kids protection and well being in the center of our action. Our children would have the opportunity to fulfill their own accomplishment. We will offer an equal opportunity for all our kids.
I'm recommending you to trust, in the next elections, all those who will be presented under the "Unic" label. Unic defend the national unity and integrity of Congo. We will work professionally to win the next election and "share equitably the power", with our partners according to our predefined democratic rules. No partner will be left behind.
